We were approached by a respected local architectural practice as to whether we would like to provide a tender for the redevelopment of a historic listed Grade 2 farmhouse in conjunction with significant hard and soft landscaping and conversion of outbuildings to which we were contracted.
The project involved stripping out the original kitchen, cabinetry, wiring, plumbing, floor zones and the majority of plasterworks whilst protecting the fabric of the building and restoring and improving the property throughout. The level of detail and finishing is a credit to forward looking clients, bespoke architectural works and a thoroughly professional reconstruction team all working in harmony.
Product placement and selection was ultimately high end, we worked to achieve our clients ambitions with companies such as Artisans of Devizes, Mandarin Stone and Fired Earth for tiles and stone wall and flooring, CP Hart for Sanitary and Brass Ware, Drummonds for a traditional roll top bath, Reeve Flooring for wide board oiled Oak flooring, employing local joinery and cabinetry solutions, Lightmaster for power and lighting solutions for both the inside and outside, and many others.
A high level of co-ordination of product placement, informed fitting operations and thoughtful finishing revolutionising a traditional farmhouse in to a cross over traditional and contemporary home of high quality without compromise. The works were completed in December 2011 ready for our clients to enjoy Christmas.
