Rill, Laverton, Worcestershire

The project was originally to demolish an existing old utility extension and to construct a new large garden room, boot room, utility room, and first floor shower room, renew the existing kitchen and re-landscape around the property.

The beauty of the new extension was in good architectural detail and good quality product choices to create a seamless cross over between the traditional structures listed Grade 2 and provide a thoroughly worthwhile contemporary space which harmonised with and enhanced the existing.

On what became phase 1 we also removed an old tennis court and the clients decided to leave this space as the planned outside swimming pool was not what they were ideally looking to achieve.

In late 2011 we were invited back and were presented with the project to construct a new sunken garden building containing a living space, shower room and kitchen.  One of the exciting parts was the construction of a Rill, the project involved good quality construction, lighting, hard landscaping, soft landscaping working with respected garden designers and significant drainage works.

We are delighted for our clients and being able to assist them in creating a truly original vision.  The final phase of works was completed in May 2012 ready we had hoped for our clients to enjoy the summer.
